I just wanted to say that this morning's training session was really useful. I'm loving the advanced search option in the database now! (EAS Customer Relationship Manager tool)

How we started

Bubblegate is one of the longest-established studios in the region, we've been around since 1984.  During that time we have been working with some major brands such as Powakaddy (with 65% of the world's powered golf trolley market), Stena Line (who unfortunately for us were bought out and disappeared) and even the United Nations, (for whom we continue to produce screen based publicity materials).

Eight years ago Bubblegate moved from Canterbury to a newly refurbished studio in a cluster of farm buildings at Stowting, midway between Canterbury and Hythe. It is a remote location, but that has not prevented the company from winning the business of a number of major international and national clients, and making a major contribution to the success of scores of smaller organisations.

Our clients today

We are responsible for some great corporate identities and we have devised, planned and put into effect award winning advertising campaigns in trade journals, local and regional press and on radio and television. Until a few years ago, our work consisted mainly of print based promotional materials - brochures, posters, leaflets and newspaper advertising - but a revolution has taken place in the design industry, and we are geared up to take advantage of it. This year well over half of our business will derive from the internet and screen based promotions. We now have two full time in-house developers, and two further developers contracted to us for a sizeable proportion of the working time.

Our strength has always been the support we give to our clients. It is glib to say that we never let them down and what we would prefer to say is that we will do whatever is possible to make sure that we surpass our clients’ expectations. That goes for creative solutions as well as delivery dates. Unusually for people in the design industry, we work in teams and so, on any project, you might have a designer, a copywriter and, say, a web developer. You will also have one person you will be able to talk to on day-to-day basis who will have an understanding of your business and will be able to check that whatever comes out of the studio is what you need, and is produced correctly. Clients are understandably upset by simple errors such as typos or spelling mistakes, and so we do what we can to make sure they don’t happen. That is probably one of the reasons why, once we have gained a client’s business, we tend to be looking after it for many years.
