We’re a small creative agency, (currently a team of six, but growing) located in beautiful countryside betweenCanterbury and Hythe. We specialise in producing marketing materials for a wide range of clients including schools, hospitals, major international pharmaceutical companies, trade associations and public affairs consultancies. Many of our clients are from overseas.
In addition, we design, produce and manage web sites and browser-based applications. We have our own Content Management System, online shop, and a bespoke application for managing trade associations. We also have a system for organising conferences but the jewel in our crown is Qunote, an online system to allow Case Managers and Occupational Therapists to keep their client data, record their clinical notes in a secure environment and do their billing.
This is a trainee position, so you’ll be working with the Operations Manager, taking on some of his responsibilities and learning his role. This includes responding to requests from clients, liaising with suppliers, managing the ‘traffic’ through the studio including allocating tasks to the designers and developers, arranging delivery to the clients and invoicing. It will include preparing proposals, budgets and presentations, supporting clients who need help with their websites and helping promote and support clients in the use of ‘Qunote.’
You’ll be a graduate, ideally but not necessarily in marketing or business studies. You’ll need strong organisational skills, a good and friendly telephone manner and a good command of written and spoken English. It can be hectic, but very interesting. We expect you to be interested in getting involved in content marketing and the opportunity is available for you to build upon our current social media and SEO contracts.
We’re offering a starting salary is £20k p.a. plus bonuses and a 5% contributory pension. You’ll need to be able to drive, and have a car as there is no public transport where we are.
